HOW MUCH WILL MY TATTOO COST?
Please check your Artists' booking page for their pricing. Understand, these are basic estimates. The price will be determined by how much time your artist spends on the piece. Some Artists in the shop charge hourly while others offer full days/ half days with flat rates, and focus on large pieces that usually take multiple days such as sleeves and back-pieces.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY TATTOO?
HOW LONG DOES A FULL ARM SLEEVE TAKE? 4-5 sessions
HOW LONG DOES A FULL CHEST TAKE? 1-2 sessions
HOW LONG DOES A FULL BACK TAKE? 4-5 sessions
HOW LONG DOES A FULL LEG SLEEVE TAKE? 5-8 sessions
*All artists work at different speeds. We do our best to estimate. The number of sessions required to complete your tattoo will vary depending on artist, complexity of tattoo design, and the size of the area of the body being tattooed.
TATTOO APPROVAL
Some Artists do not do cover ups, touch-ups or work around other Artists' work, unless approved by the Artist.
Having a Blank Canvas and allowing Artist Creativity will always be approved first!
IN PERSON CONSULTATIONS GO A LONG WAY ;) STOP BY, INSTEAD OF EMAILING IF POSSIBLE!
HOW LONG IS A DAY SESSION?
8 hours. This includes the design and tattoo. We specialize in large multi-day projects, Sleeves and Backs can take anywhere from 4-6 full days on average. Legs can often take 6-8 full days. Portraits take just one day. We do have several artists that do smaller half day tattoos as well
THE DESIGN PROCESS.
All tattoos are designed prior to your appointment. Most Artists only have time to design the night before or the day of so we do not send out design previews unless the Artist decides to do so. We recommend choosing an artist you trust based on their portfolios, and then allowing them to put their artistic input on your idea. Everything you see in our Artist's portfolios was custom made for the client. The more freedom you give the artist, generally the better the piece will be. Your design concept will be pre-approved by a booking Manager, who works directly with the artist. You do not have to bring references to your appointment; the artist prefers to help you find images that will translate into quality tattoos. Simply showing the artist a few things on your phone, or just giving them a verbal run down is perfect!
DOES MY DEPOSIT GO TOWARDS THE TATTOO COST?
Yes, your deposit is what secures your appointment with your artist. This Full amount will be applied towards the cost of your session. The remaining balance will be paid to the Artist the day of the tattoo
If you do not leave a deposit, you do not have an appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and you must provide 48 hours notice for reschedules.
WHY WOULDN'T MY IDEA GET APPROVED?
Almost All Black and Gray photo realism tattoos will be approved if it's a blank canvas!
Cover-ups, touch-ups, working around other artists tattoos, copying someone's design and choosing a style we do not specialize in are some of the most common reasons we reject tattoos. Never hesitate to check with us! Some Artists have more people wanting to get tattooed by them then they will ever be able to handle, so unfortunately even some really good ideas will get rejected by an artist. If this happens, we usually have another artist interested in working with you!
